2010 High Adventure

In August of 2010, the members of Venture Crew 9018 embarked upon an adventure that would easily become a pennical of achievement, not only logistically but physically and spiritually.

The plan: to canoe Diablo and Ross Lake, cross the Canadian border, and do it in 5 days.... 54miles round trip.

With 12 people (3 adults and 9 boys) we set out on the most amazing back country excursion any of us had ever been on. The weather was great. The atmosephere was everything you look for in a wilderness experience. The landscape was breathtaking. The boys were motivated and excited to be apart.
